About

Thanks for checking out my blog! I am a Unitarian Universalist minister, writer, justice seeker, poet, husband, father, friend, proud Lehigh Valley resident, dedicated follower of the spirit, and general goofball. Not necessarily in that order.

I have recently finished up eight wonderful years serving at the First Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Hunterdon County. They’re a wonderful congregation, and I commend them to you. For the 2013-2014 year, I intend to be a “minister at large”, preaching at various congregations, writing wherever the spirit leads me, enrolled in the spiritual direction graduate program at Moravian Seminary, volunteering here and there, and showing my kids the finer arts of Lego construction. I am available occasionally for rites of passage (weddings, house blessings, funerals, sacred storytelling, and other celebrations and observances). If you’re curious what Unitarian Universalism is all about you might start at uua.org. Though I’m proud of my faith, I feel the diversity of our global faiths and philosophies is more beautiful than any single expression of universal majesty and mystery. Or to put it more simply, I’m a human being first and foremost.

I intend to use this site to post reflections, quotes, sermons, prayers – anything that might nurture the spirit or serve justice. All posts are in the “Home” section, but for ease of getting around they are categorized in the other pages of this blog. Comments are always welcome and occasionally published. Feel free to drop me a line – always glad to meet someone new. May peace find your heart and justice find your hands!

with love,

Rev. Bob
